Naming Hitoshi Arima as general manager of its Japan operations in Tokyo, MontaVista has established its direct presence in Japan. "Historically, the Japanese embedded systems market has had a tightly linked supply chain. Our Tokyo office affords us a front-line opportunity to help meet rapidly growing market demand for complete open-source solutions," said Jim Ready, CEO of MontaVista.
