MontaVista Software, Inc., today announced that Brime Italia Srl, a technology consultancy that helps its customers develop turnkey products, has chosen MontaVista ® Linux ® Professional Edition as the operating system (OS) for the new BIAC Porexp_channel_data_field_1_current Medical Electric Muscle Stimulator. The BIAC porexp_channel_data_field_1_current electric muscle stimulator isdistributed in three versions. The basic version is for the home consumer market and is named "ACTION101." The version for the professional fitness market (i.e. fitness and beauty centers) is named "ENERGY101." The most complete version is named "THERAPY101" and is designed for the rehabilitation market.

MontaVista Powers Roland’s New Real-Time Graphics Presenter

MontaVista Software Inc. today announced that the Roland Corporation (TSE: 6789) and Roland ED Corporation have selected MontaVista® Linux® Professional Edition as the operating system for its new real-time graphics presenter, the EDIROL RG-100. The EDIROL RG-100 creates 3D graphics and presents high-resolution images for signs and advertisements on large-scale displays (plasma or projected) at retail shops, amusement parks, commercial showrooms and other inside or outside facilities.

MontaVista Software and Motorola Computer Group Announce OEM Agreement for Carrier Grade Linux on Application-Enabling Platforms

MontaVista Software, Inc and Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) today announced a formal OEM relationship agreement between the two companies, which will enable the shipment of Motorola’s Application-Enabling Platforms pre-installed with MontaVista® Linux® Carrier Grade Edition (CGE). Motorola and MontaVista Software will demonstrate the new platforms at booth # 13800 at SUPERCOMM 2004, McCormick Place, Chicago, IL, June 22-24, 2004.

Leading Companies Invest in MontaVista Software

Apr 27, 2004 SUNNYVALE, Calif.

MontaVista Software, Inc., the company powering the embedded revolution, today announced four new investors - Siemens Venture Capital, which leads the funding, as well as Samsung Ventures America, Infineon Ventures and China Development Industrial Bank. These investments in MontaVista Software, an embedded Linux platform and tools supplier, increase the company's cash reserves by $7 million. The total investment in MontaVista Software, since it was formed in 1999, is now more than $72 million.

Thales Picks MontaVista Linux to Upgrade its Secure Electronic Car Park System
