MVSHIELD SUPPORTS ROCKY LINUX BASELINESIn December 2020, the CentOS project adopted the CentOS Stream approach. As a result, the Rocky Linux project stepped in to fill the need of legacy CentOS provided to product engineering teams. Rocky Linux is replicating the original intent of CentOS Linux by reproducing a derivative of RHEL. In April 2021, MontaVista became a Principal Sponsor of RESF. Six months later, we integrated Rocky Linux into our MVShield programs targeting the CentOS 8.x or Rocky 8.x baselines.
MVSECURE AIMS TO TACKLE COMPLEX SECURITY DEMANDS
MVSecure is a MontaVista’s new effort to deliver high quality security assessment, configuration and certification services on all Linux baselines. Security features: Secure Boot, run-time integrity management, certificate storage and PKI system configuration, production line security process, SELinux, ARM TrustZone, or TPM setup.
MONTAVISTA CARRIER GRADE LINUX (CGX) 4.0 IS NOW AVAILABLE
CGX 4.0 is MontaVista’s 14th-generation Carrier Grade Linux. Developer teams will have access to a supported Linux source distribution to create embedded products and applications on x86, ARM and other SoC families. CGX 4.0 is Yocto 4.0 compatible by design with 5.10 LTS kernel and security, performance and maintenance features.
