MONTAVISTA LINUX CGX DISTRIBUTION TARGETS INTELLIGENT GATEWAYMontaVista is developing a range of ready-to-deploy pre-built images designed for common IoT, Robotics and Industrial use-cases in our Linux CGX based on the Yocto project. Aligned with MVEdge, this feature- enhanced CGX is designed for intelligent gateway applications with the ROS (Robot OS) middleware. This feature-packed CGX will bring cutting-edge support for high-end graphics, including accelerated Wayland/Flutter stack, full real-time Linux support and out-of-the-box AI/ML capabilities in order to foster next-gen applications and innovations.
MVSHIELD PROVIDES LIFECYCLE SUPPORT TO ROCKY LINUX 9.2 AND MOREMontaVista Software became a Principal Sponsor for the Rocky Enterprise Software Foundation (RESF) in its early stages and has constantly contributed to the development of the Rocky Linux project. Our commercial support program, MVShield, has strategically offered customized solutions to Rocky Linux and CentOS Linux baselines, getting increasing interest from customers year after year. Despite the changes to the CentOS project source distribution announced by Red Hat in June 2023, MontaVista continues our firm commitment to Rocky Linux, providing commercial support for Rocky Linux 9.2 and upcoming 9.x releases.
