Vice President, Engineering

As MontaVista's Vice President of Engineering, Larry brings seasoned industry experience in all aspects of product development from idea conception through product obsolescence and everything in between.

Prior to joining MontaVista Larry held senior executive roles at several Silicon Valley companies. At PalmSource he was Chief Products Officer, where he was responsible for the product roadmap and evolution for the award-winning PalmOS. At Apple Computer, Larry was Vice President of Internet and Enterprise Products, where he was responsible for networking, collaboration, and communications products. He also served as Vice President of Product Development for the company's Claris subsidiary. At Octel Communications he was Vice President of Engineering for its enterprise voicemail server products, and has also held Vice President of Engineering roles at start-ups Pixo and Noosh. Prior to that, Larry spent over 10 years at Converent Technologies, and began his career at Hewlett-Packard.

Larry holds BS and MS degrees in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
