Before joining MontaVista, Larry Macfarlane was president of Big Planet, the technology division of Nu Skin Enterprises, where he created the successful Photomax brand of digital memories products and services. Before Big Planet, Larry served as senior director of network infrastructure and digital consumer markets for embedded development vendor Wind River Systems. There he developed new strategies that expanded the company's consumer electronics software business and restored profitability in its network infrastructure unit. Larry has also served in executive positions at other high-tech companies, including president and chief executive officer of Zinc Software, vice president and general manager of the western region of Computer Equipment Warehouse, and president of systems integrator Computers Made Easy.
