Thangaraju Balasubramanian

Senior Consultant, Wipro Technologies

Described as "a self-confessed Linux fanatic and a meticulous technologist" by Linux For You, Thangaraju Balasubramanian, a senior consultant with Wipro Technologies, has had more than 30 papers about Linux published in Linux Journal and other technical journals, and has given presentations about Linux at dozens of conferences in 5 countries. He is planning to establish a Linux Centre of Advanced Study in Talent Transformation within Wipro, where he can train developers on Linux kernel programming, embedded Linux, RTOSs and Device Drivers. Named a TuxHero by the journal Linux For You, one of Thangaraju's goals is that more universities in India include Linux in their engineering curricula.
