Ben Botti

Software Test Engineer, MontaVista Software

Ben Botti is a lead software test engineer at MontaVista Software, where he has improved and automated test processes for MontaVista Linux on ARM, MIPS, PPC, and x86 hardware. As the test team leader for MontaVista Mobilinux, Ben works with MontaVista customers, including engineers from some of the world's top mobile device manufacturers, and has supported Mobilinux on such processors as TI OMAP2430, TI OMAP3430, and Freescale i.MX31. Before joining MontaVista, Ben analyzed system issues and developed firmware for LCD HD TVs as a system engineer for Vima Microsystems, and developed SNMP control software for the Promina large scale network multiservice access platform as a software engineer for Network Equipment Technologies.
