Enrollment

All registration is via the MontaVista Website. If you have not received a tentative or final registration confirmation in a timely manner (see "Confirmation" below), please contact MontaVista at the email address and phone number above as soon as possible.

Confirmation

A tentative registration is granted immediately upon enrollment. A notice of tentative registration will be transmitted by MontaVista in a timely manner. Tentative registrations expire ten business days before the first day of class.

Full registration is granted when the student's subscription status has been verified and after an approved Purchase Order or payment is received. A corresponding notice of full registration will be sent. Payments received after a tentative registration has expired but before class begins will be accepted on a space-available basis.

Although MontaVista will make every reasonable effort to contact students in the event of the imminent expiration of a tentative registration, it is the student's responsibility to verify that a full registration has been processed.

Last minute arrivals will be admitted on a space-available basis.

Payments

Tuition may be paid via an approved Purchase Order by wire transfer, credit card, or check payable to MontaVista Software, LLC

Cancellations

Student Cancellations

Fees for public classes are fully refundable if the cancellation is received more than ten business days before the first day of class.

For cancellations received between five and ten business days prior to the beginning of class, the tuition will be applied to a future course registration (subject to availability). Refunds and/or rebooking are not available when cancellations are received less than five business days before the first day of class.

Course Cancellations

For cancellations outside of MontaVista Software's control (weather, natural disaster, etc...), notice will be provided as early as possible. At the student's discretion, either a full refund or a re-booking (subject to space-available) will be granted. MontaVista cannot, however, be responsible for student expenses for matters outside of its control.

For all other cancellations, MontaVista will provide notice at least five business days before class begins. At the student's discretion, either a full refund or a re-booking (subject to space-available) will be granted. Students who are traveling or otherwise out-of-contact at that time are advised to contact the registrar slightly before that date to determine the status of the class and their registration.

Accommodations, etc...

All travel arrangements including transportation, food and lodging are the student's responsibility. On class days MontaVista provides lunch and drinks.
